Dear Judith and the Bellevue Family,
You came highly recommended and yet have exceeded all our expectations. We have enjoyed everything, especially our room, the meal on the terrace and generally being looked after so well. Thank you so much. We came to Switzerland very tired and jaded and leave rested and at peace with ourselves……….We will recommend you to our friends and hope to return in the future. Guten Abend Judith und Andreas
I want to say how much I enjoyed my stay (again) at the Bellevue Wengen. You made me feel very welcome and I did appreciate all the trouble you went to in sorting out my gluten-free (Coeliac) diet. The weather was also wonderful and I had eight days of great hiking, four of which were with Urs Kaderli. Hopefully, I will return and will not leave it so long next time.

We would just like to thank-you for your hospitality during our stay over the Swiss National Day We enjoyed everything during our few days spent at your hotel and we do not think there could have been a better view from our balcony looking out over the valley.
We had actually got engaged a few days before we arrived at your hotel so the pleasant surroundings made the stay very enjoyable.

Judith and Andreas -
Jennifer and I made it back to California after a VERY LONG day of travelling. We wanted to thank you for a very enjoyable stay. You have a lovely hotel in a spectacular setting and it was the highlight of our holiday. We are planning another trip to Europe in two years, this time going through France and Italy, and I will arrange a side trip to Wengen. We will, of course, arrange accommodations in Wengen with you.
Although we made about 500 photographs of our holiday, my 14 year old son has not looked at them. He is still only interested in Andreas' trains on his website!

Dear Andreas and Judith,
I would like to thank you both for the most delightful stay in your lovely hotel, the excellent service, outstanding food, and general ambience. It is difficult to imagine a more perfect place to stay in Wengen, which is such a very extraordinary place - where else can one find such marvellous scenery? The room was perfect both in comfort and the views, and both Jeffrey Wood and myself thank you.
Having told two friends, Barbara and Bernard Jackson all about it, and shown them my video, they have, as you will of course know, booked a stay at the Bellevue in early September, and I am sure they will be as happy as we were. I hope the weather proves to be as good for them as it was for us! Bernard Jackson is a great enthusiast of model (and real) trains and railways, so he will be very excited to see your amazing models in action! I hope you have them out and running while he is there.

Dear Judith und Andreas Engi-Graf
Having come back to my homeland, I remember so many things on my trip in Europe,
and of course, with Hotel Bellevue among them.
Since not used to travelling abroad, I had so much uneasiness as well as joy.
But your welcoming and warm smiling made me feel at home.
Though just one-night stay, I watched the scene I can’t forget.
'The moonrise from behind the Jung Frau'
It was just like the sunrise in the night, shining calmly’·’·’· Bellevue’·’·’·
Next morning, It was also fine in the summer.
From my tiny room, mountain high, valley deep, air fresh.
Breakfast was so tasty, but I had to leave.
How I wished I could stay one more night!
That’s why far away from Japan, the eastern islands of water and green,
I send all my thanks to all of you.

Thank you for making our two week stay very enjoyable. Yourselves and your staff were very friendly and it was very difficult to leave to come back to England. I attach a couple of photographs including one which Andreas helped me to set up.

Dear Andreas and Judi,
Firstly, I must thank you for sending the handkerchiefs back to me! Sorry to put you to so much trouble - I only took them in case I should get the sniffles!
Secondly, and most importantly, thank you both so much for making our shared holiday in Wengen such a special one. The only thing none of us had any control over was the weather, it was such a pity it rained so much. However, I have some lovely photographs and we shall treasure the memories of a very happy time. I knew I was right to recommend the Bellevue to my friends, it's never let me down yet!
We enjoyed our journey home via Luzern, a beautiful route through wonderful countryside. Although it was cloudy there, we were able to sit outside by the river to have our lunch. I spent a holiday in Alpnachstad in 1962 with Dave and some other friends, so knew it quite well, even though that holiday was such a long time ago. I took one photo of the chapel bridge and my camera broke........ what a blessing it hadn't happened earlier in my holiday!
Please thank all your staff for making us so welcome. As for the weather, it just means I shall have to find an excuse to come again and to make sure the sun shines on me! I'd never been unlucky before!

Just a short note to say "Thank you" for an excellent 16 nights at your delightful hotel - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will not hesitate to recommend the Bellevue to our friends.
