General information
Wengen can only be reached by train from Lauterbrunnen. Cars have to be left in a car park in Lauterbrunnen. The trains to Wengen run every 30 minutes (07 and 37), in the evening (20.30) every hour until 23.30pm 00.40 am 01.20 am, 02.40am and on weekend 02.40am. The journey takes 14 minutes.

Travel by train
From the border or from the airport to Wengen there is a special ticket (Swiss Transfer ticket) only for non-Swiss visitors, which enables you to travel to and from Wengen. It has to be bought before your trip. More on www.swisstravelsystem.ch
The travel from Zürich or the west part of Switzerland is easy via Bern - Interlaken Ost - Lauterbrunnen and Wengen (be careful in Interlaken to take the right part of the train to Lauterbrunnen and not to Grindelwald). From East of Switzerland and also from Zürich also via Bern or via Luzern over the Brünig pass to Interlaken Ost - Lauterbrunnen and Wengen.

Travel by plane
Airports: Bern (Berne), Zürich, Basel-Mulhouse, Genève (Geneva)
From Bern: Take a taxi to the main train station in Bern and take the rain to Interlaken Ost ...
Or take the special bus transfer from Bern airport to the Jungfrau Region. Travel time ca. 1 - 1,5 hours
From Zürich and Geneva: There is a direct train from the underground station at the airport to Bern - Interlaken Ost ...Total travel time ca. 3,5 and 4 hours
From Basel-Mulhouse: Take the direct bus to Basel main train station. Take the train to Bern - Interlaken Ost……….Travel time ca. 3.5 hours
Travel by car to Lauterbrunnen
Coming from Bern, take the highway (A8) before Interlaken, direction Interlaken Ost/Luzern, after the “Rugen”tunnel take the first exit Wilderswil and take direction Lauterbrunnen. Coming over the Brünig pass take also the exit Wilderswil.
Parking in Lauterbrunnen
At the entrance of Lauterbrunnen village there is a car park on the left before the train station (bookings for minimum 6 nights are possible on
www.jungfraubahn.ch. From the car park you get to the train station with the elevator to floor 7. There are trolleys for your luggage next to the elevators. If that car park is full, drive to the train station for unloading and continue to park your car at the car park next to the church or further on (follow the signs) On weekends in winter there is a P&R bus which brings you back to the train station (it is about 10 min. walk)
Arrival at Wengen station
At Wengen station there is a hotel reservation board. You can call us from there (free of charge) for a pick up (max. CHF 15.--) or walk through the village following the brown signs “Bellevue” (not Belvédère).
Walk along the main street, uphill between Hotel Schönegg and the Pharmacy. At the Palace Hotel (Club Med) turn left in front of the Hotel towards the Church and follow the road (not to the Church) pass the Hotel Wengenerhof and go on to the Bellevue Hotel. It is about 660 m and 7 minutes walk.
