Wengen
 Wengen (1274m/4180ft) is situated on a wind sheltered sun terrace on the foot of Eiger Mönch and Jungfrau, 400m  over the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The traditional holiday resort offers a 3-generation Ski- and walking paradise around the Männlichen-Kleine Scheiddegg and Eigergletscher.
Since 1893 you have been able to get to Wengen by the Wengernalpbahn (Railway) from Lauterbrunnen as there is no road to the village. More than 1000 inhabitants live in Wengen all year round. The top events are the international Lauberhorn ski races and the Jungfrau Marathon.
